My sister and I are in the process of removing a toxic person from our lives. We also will not let this person live "rent-free" in our heads.

A few years ago, I had to let go of a "toxic friend"; it was hard, but it turned out to be one of the best things I ever did for myself. I didn't realize how much this person was hurting my self esteem until a few months after I ended that friendship.

I love this blog. Most of us do not think twice about removing toxic chemicals or food from our lives but toxic people can be just as bad. Relationships should be reviewed periodically and those that are negative, destructive and toxic should be removed. Pray for them and move on.

Harder than it sounds, especially when a family member is toxic.
