Day 133-Flavored Perrier!!!

Sunday, March 16, 2014

Finally, I found something without sweeteners which satisfies my urge for fizzy bubblies!!!! I gave up soft drinks, both regular and diet ones some time ago. I find the sweet taste of real or artificial sugars cause me to go into carb craving mode!!! I would eat whatever carbs I happen to have on hand or I would suffer terriblr cravings and be miserable. Since I have given up sugar and sweeteners the results have been amazing> I have no more cravings!!!! Crazy!!!

But I have been missing the bubbles in soda! Daughter 1 turned me on to a new beverage...flavored perrier!!! Delish...the only thing in it is water which has been carbonated and natural flavoring!!! I get all the bubbles with a hint of flavor and no sweeteners!!! Soon be drinking this by the case!!! Love it!!

Another better choice for the things I have been missing! That is one thing I am realizing...I don't have to miss out on everything I want. I can substitute healthier options which completely satisfy me!!!!

I used to drink a lot of pop, Coke in my teens and early twenties, which changed to Diet Pepsi in my mid-twenties when I went on my first "diet". I used to have cans and bottles of Diet Pepsi strung from one end of my apartment in Toronto to the other. It's insane to even think about it now! I absolutely hated water and never drank it. I was always drinking something, either coffee or tea, and Diet Pepsi, but I was nearly 40 before I started forcing myself to drink water. And in the beginning it was definitely a forced thing. OMG, I hated it! lol But somehow I got away from the soda and it's not something I struggle with at all any more. I really don't like the taste of full sugar pops at all any more, they're just too sweet and too fizzy for me. If I'm going to drink a pop I only like the diet kind. I might have one a few times a year now. Usually special situations when it's that or nothing. I guess old dogs can learn new tricks! lol So glad you've found a healthier alternative to satisfy those bubbly wants! emoticon

Being in Sweden we have all kinds of sparkling water and my daughter loves the different flavours.
I have Soda-streamer that I use to carbonate the tap-water!
Love it!
Check out Target, they have them.
