Today is the St. Patrick Day parade here,, a big deal.. They have Irish breakfasts, lunches and dinners, green beer, corned beef and cabbage, Irish stew, 2K, 5K, walking and child races..
We do not dye our river like Chicago does, but everybody is Irish for the day.. and cold if they choose to be out there today. We are supposed to get a dusting of snow again today,, the temp is in teh teens..

I will stay in doors and do some sorely needed cleaning and some nice core exercises, the tread...
I slept well last night, finally caught up on some ZZZ's.

It is going to be a great day! I am going out to refill that suet cage again!! DD filled it Friday afternoon, it was empty yesterday morning when we awoke!!

We are getting low on the cakes,, In our fourth case already!! Menard's had a huge sale on them in February, we already had a case, bought three more,, I cannot afford to buy an more,, they got them all winter to stay alive, but now it will be strictly seed and whatever we toss out the door for them,,usually apples, bread crusts, dryer lint for nests, crackers, potato peelings for the squirrels and bunnies.

I was so glad I did buy all of that suet when the guys cut the trees down and left most of the squirrels homeless..

That snow! It's getting a little old, huh?

I feed the birds here in the maple trees in the back of my deck. Not many out there yet.

Happy St. Patrick's Day (tomorrow). I wish it was a national holiday so we could have the day off. I'm not into beer, but do enjoy corned beef and cabbage (didn't buy any this year). Enjoy

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you.
Our town doesn't have a parade but we do celebrate it.
So far the sun is out on this side of the lake.

You know holidays are no longer celebrated when they occur, they occur when it is financially best to hold them! I am still upset with holidays moving to Mondays!

Dryer lint for birds nests. I will have to remember that one!

Our crazy city did the St. Patrick's Day parade a week ago! My husband and I were scratching our heads and thinking they didn't know how to read the calendar LOL!
