My daughter is still in the "Clinic". Mental state seemed to improve, but now she is talking about the voices. She is being seen three times a day and has group twice (I think). She told my wife that she didn't want to come home.
My son did get all his work done finally. No failing 6th grade as of now. He was a big help today. This is a first in a long time.
My wife started crying again today about my daughter

Me- I'm actually OK. Not great or even good, but OK. Have a double race planed for tomorrow. It is an 8k at 9:30 AM followed by a 5k at 11:30 AM. Then it's work for 10 hours. So I plan on having a full day. Was debating of running hard in both races, or easy one / hard one. Now, I'm just going to enjoy myself running. Because...

My basement flooded today. I had a dead sump pump today. Thought it was the GFCI and changed it. Nope, pump locks up after 30 seconds or so. Time for new pump. Pump installed. Running great, but water sounded different. Discharge pipe is frozen solid. At least I know what burned up the first pump and kept tripping the GFCI. Back to store after seeing my daughter tonight. Came home to 6 inches of basement flood. Just enough to get to clothes dryer and deep freezer.

FYI- I planed on doing laundry today. The two sets of cold weather running gear and most of my work clothes and soaking in dirty snow melt basement water.

The good news. It is what it is. I get to run 2 races tomorrow and then I get to work where I can actually fix the problems around me.

That's it for now. Carry on my friends, Konrad

I missed your news about your daughter in a clinic (have been on/off SP too much lately, I guess - I will go back and read your earlier posts). I'm sorry to hear about that and your wife struggling so much - and now the pump! They do say that bad news comes in three's so I think after we tally up your past few months, you should be off the hook for more bad news for quite some time! Good luck on your races!

Today I will pray for your daughter and your wife. Seeing our loved ones struggle hurts so bad!

Not enough words to express how my heart goes out to you. You seem to barely have time to think - so just be as good to you as you can muster the strength to be.

Enjoy the "freedom" of your run-time tomorrow.
