Wk 153 Weigh In

Saturday, March 15, 2014

I'm going to make this blog post short because I'm a little tired. After lunch today my son and I went and visited the Castle Air Museum, at what used to be Castle Air Force Base (until Clinton shut it down in the 90's). It is one of the top air museums in the nation and is visited by people from around the world.

Well today it was about 80 degrees and we were walking around for more than an hour with very little shade. 80 isn't real hot for here, but it should only be about 64 right now, so 80 is scorching (and it's still technically Winter!)

Anyway, on to the numbers for this week:

Weight : 221.6
Lost : 1.8
Total : 98.4

After last weeks soul crushing gain of 1.0 lb I was able to turn things around and lose 1.8 lbs. Makes it a lot easier to move ahead after posting a nice loss this week.

Have a great weekend :)

Any loss is worthy of celebration! You are moving in the right direction. Even maintenance is good. Shows consistency. Keep up the good work!

I knew you could turn this thing around.. You haven't gotten there by quitting.
But we all need our moments for ranting and self-pitying.

this whole thing is like a very long treck. Some days all is well and we can do lots of terrain. Somedays the terrain is rough and take all of our energy and some days, the road ahead is smooth and flat, but we are just so tired of the whole thing that we just crash down and feel like we'll never get there... we aren't good enough.

then someone, something or ourselves will let us see all that we have achieved, that we are worth it, and also that it is ok and normal to fall down, Then after thinking about it, we get up and start moving again.

We all have a right to our own emotions. Not letting them out is, for a lot of us, how we got here in the first place. So live them, own them and then move on... that is what I have to say.

Congratulations bro! I knew you were going to bounce back when you were ready.

Have a great day! a great week and a great life!

What a difference a week makes! congrats on your loss. I swear, I feel like I am doomed to live in this plateau the rest of my life. So, I am "jealous" of your loss!! Sounds like a nice day with your son.

That was one great come back! emoticon
I took back that weight watcher's bathroom scale. It just kept changing it's reading every time I stepped on - like every second. Got another brand but haven't tried it out yet. Will see how it works this week.

80 degrees! WOW, and we are getting over 4 inches of snow tonight! Burrrrrrr!

The museum visit sounded like a fun time spent with your son. Glad you got to do this and glad you had such a good weigh-in. I hope I can do likewise on my next. emoticon
