frustrations of being a woman

Saturday, March 15, 2014

so i have to admit that i gave up last week. i gave up because i stepped on the scale and i had gained five pounds. i know it sounds silly, but i felt really depressed over it. i went to the doctor and their scale even said it, but when the nurse wrote down my weight the put me down as 15 lbs lighter. it was like the universe was trying to cheer me up. my doc put me on new meds and i started feeling better. then a i started my monthly cycle and it became clear to me, i only gained five pounds because i was about to start my period. i had to remember, the weight was probably because of water retention. im so silly for getting up set because of that. now i am back to exercising and feeling great.....i did coach nichole's total body challenge from the 28 day boot camp......and now my body hate me lol

It happens. I get frustrated at gaining a pound these days mainly cause I can't seem to lose the extra 5. However, emoticon

I feel like as women we take on a lot of ever changing variables. It can make weighing-in frustrating. It would be nice to step on the scale and have it tell you that it's only water weight.

Wishing you continued success!!!

That's great that you realized that it was water retention. emoticon
