Daughter went home with friends from school yesterday, so it was just Husband and me last night. We had a GREAT dinner at home (oh my gosh, I haven't had a steak in YEARS and Husband makes the. best. steaks. ever!) and then we watched 300. We timed it just right, and when it was over, we went to see the new "300: Rise of an Empire" movie in 3D. We laughed that we were leaving the house at 9pm, to go out. We are only 33 and 38, but we laughed at how "old" we felt, going out at 9pm. It was a fun evening! It took me a while to go to sleep (I was a tad over-stimulated from watching 4 hours of ass kicking), but I fell asleep around 1:30am and slept in until about 9:30 this morning. Then I got up, threw on a hat, went to pay my mortgage (ugh!) and grabbed a couple things at the grocery store. I only have coffee on the weekends, but I found some sugar-free French vanilla creamer at the store. I was so excited! I made coffee using Truvia (which I use anyway) and the sugar-free creamer. It was delicious! I'm excited about this because I was sure I'd have to use regular cream or something...coffee is one of the few things that I'm really, really picky about how it tastes, and considering how I only have it on the weekends, I was so hoping I could have it just the way I like it...and I did! Yay!
Also...wow, I can't believe I almost forgot to mention this! Since my headache finally went away a couple of days ago, I've been feeling so great. I just couldn't wait until tomorrow to weigh in, so I did it this morning. Since Sunday night, I've lost 10.6 pounds! As of yesterday morning, Husband has lost 6 pounds. I am thrilled! I had no idea it would be so much! I texted my SIL and she was so excited for me. She's been doing really well with her weight loss lately and she keeps saying "this is our year!" I'm starting to believe it myself.
Daughter won't be home until this evening, and Husband is at work. I originally said I was going to clean my house today. I have decided to RELAX and enjoy some peace and quiet...and another cup of delicious coffee! :)
