Trials and Blessings

Friday, March 14, 2014

I am blessed by everyone that has left me sparkgoodies today - thank you so much! I have been feeling a little discouraged lately and this was the boost that I needed. I have been having back and shoulder problems which have made it difficult for me to work out and this has certainly affected my mood. I have had spinal xray and they say that I have arthritis in my lower spine. I had a MRI and arthrogram on Wednesday for my shoulder - I am waiting for the results. So what does it all mean? I am getting old! Well that is what the nurse told me - oh really?? I am 52 in May and that is not old girlie! Once I get the results of my MRI back, I will be back training with my trainer! She can modify my workouts for what I need :)
So that is where I am at - feeling blah!

All I can say is that the worst attack I had of arthritis was when I was 16 -- and it made me feel like 160.

Physical age is relative. Some athletes are old by 40.
