I decided to "stick with it" and went to my Weight Watchers meeting last night. I'm glad I went because I got some much needed motivation! I lost 2 lbs.! So since I started back to Weight Watchers on 1/8, I've lost 5 lbs. I'm not going to dwell on the fact that it's taken me 9 weeks to loose 5 lbs. I'm going to celebrate the 5 lbs.!
WW is very good at recognition and celebrating and my leader is great. I really like her, she's got that "sarcastic wit" and she's enthusiastic, but not "fake". Anyway, I got my 5 lb. sticker! She also talked about the new Live Life Active Challenge (that I signed up for online yesterday) and how we'll get a "charm" if we participate in the program.
So the entire meeting was motivating and it didn't hurt to have a loss. In fact, even though it had gotten cold and really (really) windy, my sister and I decided to walk after the meeting. So I stuck with my first activity challenge. In fact, I went 10 mins. over since we took a brisk 40 min. walk. I actually had to run part of the walk because I was walking the puppy and she kept trying to keep up with DD#3 and the dog.
So the walking was a NSV and this morning I put on some pants that were too tight and they fit again! NSV #2. I also measured myself and I lost 3 inches. Since 2/4, I've lost 4.5 inches NSV #3!
I decided to go back and look at my measurements. Even though I've lost 4.5 inches (Bust, Waist, Hips & Thigh), I am 3.5 inches more than when I was at my goal weight. The biggest gain was in the waist/hip area (which is where my pants were too tight).
So, my 6 week goal is (4/23 weigh in):
Loose 5 lbs.
Loose 2 inches
