Week 26

Gained one kilo this week. I'm ok with that - last week probably wasn't demonstrative of how things really were.

This week I've started introducing foods back into my diet. So far dairy [old intolerance], soy and wheat are off the menu for me. Had wheat and soy on Saturday, and that resulting in a long and painful night of tummy cramps, plus itchy skin.

I need to learn how to work around these changes in what I will allow myself to eat. It's tough, since I love wheat products - I could eat pasta and noodles everyday, probably every meal if I could. And soy and wheat are in so many things as well, so I need to be extra diligent in reading the ingredient lists on food.

My dad brought over the cross-trainer this week. It's great. So far I've only done 15 minute bursts, equalling about 4 kilometres each time. Really gets the blood pumping quickly, especially using the set programmes on it.

    Exercise is good. But measuring all food that goes into my mouth is better, then counting the calories and writing it in the SP Tracker is best.
