Tropical fruit freezer pops !

Wednesday, March 12, 2014

Yesterday i took a serving of canned tropical fruit and mandarin oranges and cut them into small pieces added alittle water to the light syrup in it and put it in my freezer pop containers and it was great at about 40 calories and would count as a 1/2 of a fruit ! I am learning to crochet and have made several pinwheel coffee coasters by following instructions on utube and have given away about 40 of them now i am making them for our tea party at church in may but wanted to do something different and am doing a simple premie baby banket . It's going to be stripped mint green white peach white yellow white then i'm not sure the color for the boarder . Gonna look for a new soup recipe for the rest of the week been eating soup for lunch homemade is the only kind i like ! Have a great day !

I like Sandra's idea for imitation ice cream --- I am going to try that when summertime arrives.

The baby blanket sounds like it will be so lovely, Vickie. I am happy that you found something that you enjoy doing that has the promise of such a nice end product. I feel the need to get back to my limited crafting skills --- there is a good sense of achievement in making something, isn't there?

How about posting a photo of the pinwheel coffee coasters --- if you have a way to do so? They sound quite pretty & are sure to add a lot to the tables at the church tea party.

God bless!

Thank for the freezer pop tip! It will be a while before I'm craving a popsicle, but I'll keep this one in mind for the summer months.
