Day Three :)

I've started over again but I'm ready this time. This is my third day working out and I'm feeling so energized probably gonna go for a little run later tonight. It was kinda an accidental start I been waiting for taxes to get my gym membership and they finally came through and this week is spring break for me so I felt it was a good week to start. I planned on taking my little sister with me, she just turned 15 and is in a lot better shape than me. I figured a partner would do me so good since I tend to be pretty shy.
It was Sunday and my sister was in the next town over, so before my mother went to go get her she asked me if i wanted to go on a walk at the local dog park. I decided to go with her but never knew how outta shape I was, my heart felt like it was going to burst out of my chest with the half run half walk we did. This brought it all into focus and I'm going into the health care field and I want to be healthy when I start my career. The next day my sister and I went and got our gym memberships at the YMCA. It's the only other gym in town with a pool and I love swimming.
That night we were going to do a zumba class but the instructor was sick so another instructor did an aerobics class. It kicked my butt but I pulled through it. I felt really great after. I haven't really felt great after my workouts before, such an amazing and addicting feeling.
I have also started a fitness book to help me track what I am doing and I can take it everywhere. The beginning has fitness inspiration pictures, then my goals and rewards, and finally my day by day tracking.
Today we went swimming it's the third day of being sore but so much more energy. I love swimming because it's easy on my knees. I know I'm not very old but my left knee is unstable and has dislocated 4 times now and I get worried when doing high impact exercise. Plus I just love swimming I used to be on a swim team but had to give it up, the drive was too long and I didn't have a license yet. I want to swim at least once a week, mainly because it doesn't feel like exercise to me and is so refreshing. I also feel a lot less sore and ready to move.
If I can keep my dream in mind I can achieve it and with a gym right next to my college it will be hard to look at it with out going. Wish me luck and good luck to everyone on here we can all do this. :)
