Iím feeling great today! My muscles are sore, I had a fantastic workout last night followed by a fantastic workout this morning Ė Iím eating pretty clean and healthy Ė loving things right now!
Yesterday was a great day Ė I was super tired and was concerned I would wimp out of my workout after work, and I did procrastinate a bit I but got it in. I was planning on doing a Zumba workout but decided out of laziness that I wanted to do a shorter workout. So I popped in a Turbo Fire workout: Fire 30. And MAN! I felt great! It was tough, but I pushed myself really hard and I felt like it was the best workout I had ever gotten doing that video. Towards the end I had to do less jumping and more stepping to finish strong, but I pushed myself and really focused on what I was doing (while I had fun doing it) and today my core muscles feel so sore! Love it!
This morning I had my first gym buddy meet up with my friend from work. I was running a little late because of the dog and I had to go back up to get my lunch from the fridge, but I got my workout in! I refused to have a set back, so I started right where I left off (which I guess could be a set back, since Iím repeating the last interval I was doingÖ but at least I didnít lose anything). It was rough. I was really pushing myself towards the end. I did the 3 minutes walking and 2 minutes jogging 5 times workout. I had a little time to stretch out after and then I hopped in the shower. I felt really rushed after the shower and kept sweating and felt like a drowned mouse when I got to work, but at least I got the workout in, lol. We made plans to go back tomorrow and I will be doing an arm workout and finish up whatever time I have left on the elliptical or treadmill, just doing an easy cardio workout to loosen up any muscle soreness I expect Iíll have tomorrow.
The sun is shining, it was in the upper 40ís today Ė spring is coming! Life is good!
