well it is working. Down 2 pounds. Difficult the planning and weighing the measuring but confident I can do this. At least I say that in the morning. By nighttime I am ready to grab anything sweet and throw everything to the wind.
The book had several recipes and I have done two of them.
Breakfast cookie
oatmeal protein pancake?? Not sure I will do this again. Its ok low carb. low cal but flavor not good a little bland,even though I added unsweetened applesauce.
So not sure of menu tomorrow. Today is done and happy I have chosen good food. emoticon

    How about adding some cinnamon to those pancakes?? That would add some nice flavor with the applesauce.

    My niece did the Spark Solution plan as well and commented on how much cooking was involved! That tends to be its undoing. Its so labor intensive that most people can't keep up after it for more than a few weeks. That's when you have to step in and come up with simpler versions of their complicated recipes if you want to stick with it.

    emoticon emoticon You are off to a great start! I too struggle with night time craves and tend to graze late night. Together we can encourage each other and stay on track. I wonder if there are any other low carb recipe book to try or you might try SP search for low carb recipes. Just a thought! Hoe you find something you will enjoy! emoticon on the 2 lb loss!

I know what you mean about those nighttime cravings, though for me, it's alcohol. I always used to relax with a drink, and I miss it.

I hope you will find more flavorful recipes in the book. It is so disappointing to look forward to something tasty and it turns out bland.
