Tired but content

I'm back on track and it feels good. Lost a few ounces on the scale this morning, so I'm back on my way down.

Sunday was a good day, and today was okay. I am just so tired. I know people blame it on losing an hour of sleep, but I go to sleep too late as it is.

I've been baking. Funny enough, being around cake and frosting so much makes me want to eat it less. I volunteered to make cupcakes for someone's engagement party. I also made and decorated a birthday cake for a coworker's birthday. More baking will follow at the end of the week. Coming up on Sunday is the Jewish festival of Purim. We dress up and give out food. Kind of like the Jewish version of Halloween. So of course I'm baking, cuz I'm good at it. (Sometimes.) Also I got a costume that is inspired by St. Patrick's day which falls out on Monday. Green wig, green tutu, green fishnet stockings. I think I'm gonna have fun.

I didn't have any cupcakes but I did lick the frosting. To taste it of course. The mocha buttercream frosting has so much coffee in it I got a headache from one lick. My head does not like caffeine.

So I've been busy which is good cuz it keeps me from eating. Also trying to chug water at work. Annoying having to get up and use the bathroom so often, but what can you do.

I'm so tired and have midterms and assignments coming up at school. I love being busy but I just need time to chill...

Sleep is calling. Good night all.

    Lol I just decorated the cake tonight. The birthday party is tomorrow. Surprise of course. Hopefully I can get it to work in one piece. Will share the feedback on the cake tomorrow.
