I've never been one for New Year's resolutions. I don't keep them, so I don't bother. Now I'm having some wonderful convergences. My hours have been cut at my part-time job. That comes right as my need for fuel oil is falling off. I'm incredibly pleased.
That makes it time for spring cleaning for me. I've cleared my streaks and confirmed my goals. For readers from earlier last year, that means I can reconnect with J and start walking again. We start in 2 weeks. We'd start sooner, but I'll be out of town all next week for training at the day job. Rather than stop and restart, we're just picking up when I get back. Both our wive's are way too pleased with the arrangement.
I was looking for a way to afford a gym membership to start to overcome the winter "sedentaries" and realized that my Netflix DVD subscription cost more than my local gym would. So, I get to join the gym and save a few bucks beside. Now that's not a dis on Netflix. It's just the choice I made. DW approves, though she won't come with me. Apparently going to the gym makes me easier to live with. Regardless, cycling season is just a couple of weeks away since DST kicked in and I'm really ready to get back on the trails. So, I joined online today, and will make my first visit tonight.
Now that I'm actually going to be "doing something", I'll have stuff to write about. So for all who have encouraged me to write, I'll be a more regular poster again.
