I walk 1 mile M-F every week to the bus stop in the morning and walk 1 mile m-t-w-f every week home from the bus stop in the afternoon. This has become a regular part of my day and I know that I need more than just the walking to keep pushing forward with my weight loss.
As I transfered from my first bus to the next bus today, I knew I had about an 8 min wait before my next bus. With my MP3 player playing music (Staying Alive by the BeeGees), I got to my next bus stop (about a 2 min walk) I realized there was a curb on the sidewalk outlining a patch of dirt with some bushes. I decided to do some step arobics.
I knew people must have thought I was crazy but I was having fun, stepping to the beat of the music. So I got a small 6 min workout in before my next bus came.
Got to say, that song is a great workout song.
