Waiting for Spring ...........

Looks like I am really late with my February blog huh !!! Well better late than not at all I guess.

I know I am not alone in this comment but I'll say it anyway ..... I am so over this winter, cold, snow, sleet, and ice oh and did I mention the shoveling and still having to go to work in it all ?? But I know Spring is coming, it's on it's way. I know this because I hear the birds chirping in the morning, some days the temps are rising and today was daylight savings time. So all the signs are here .... so I am waiting !!!

Now about my healthy habits in Feb, well I think I am still a work in progress since I am still losing and gaining the same pounds over and over again. I'm still getting my exercise in just not enough I guess but there was no desire for me to go out once I get home in the dark and cold and the weather just took a toll on my mood and motivation. All I did when I came home was go on SP and motivate others and catch up with my SP friends. This by no means is a complaint because I love being an active member on SP it helps keep me accountable to myself and it works.

So I am looking forward to warm enough weather with an hour extra of daylight to take an evening walk during the month of March. Here it is already the 9th and I have enjoyed some extra walking this weekend, so things are looking up.

Come on Spring push winter away and let the sunshine in !!!

    I'm ready for spring too. We have been having warmer temps now and loving it.

    I am also ready for spring. Past ready in fact. Just to let you know when I list WATP as my cardio it is a Leslie Sansone video which I do in my family room. It is a power walking program which gets my heart rate up as high as 140 bpm. She has several videos on you tube and I will generally do either a 3 mile or 4 mile walk. If you search it on you tube you can see her in action. It is low impact cardio which is very important to me. Have a good evening!

    I have to agree with you. I am so over winter. Maybe we need to figure out a dance to get spring to come faster lol.
