In the spirit of "Flavoring My Water" by KELLYDRESCHER www.sparkpeople.com/mypa

a short and practical blog:

One of my old habits that I'm trying to correct is eating groceries on the drive home from the store. I tumbled to the obvious a couple of trips ago: If I put the weekly groceries in the trunk, I can't nibble on them. I used this tip for the third time today and felt a sense of accomplishment!

And the tune popped into my head ... Can't touch this! :)

I am also a fan of drinking my water as water-flavored water! I love the flavor of our town's tap water!

And guess what? My groceries ride in the trunk, and have for years. Yep, a good plan. "No eating in the new car, keep it clean" rule also helps, once you actually spring for a new car! emoticon

Happy Birthday tomorrow, Ace. The Kugel really *did* hit the spot, mid-bike ride, and did not weigh me down too much on the ride home. emoticon

Huh. Well, I like my water plain. I love the groceries in the trunk idea, but you're not talking about eating a sliver of salmon on the way home, right? Any cookies, chips, candy, cake - the C foods I like to call them - comes from DH. I'll have to check to see what he's eating in the car...
