Here I go again. I don't know why I put myself through this. When something works and I start losing weight I change things up and then BAM...I don't recall what worked. I had to dig deep and figure it out AGAIN. MY old plan, which is simple and easy works. I am going to get back to it.
Day 4 of 100 was okay...need to fine tune some things. Moving on to day 5...working on my plan and trying to get and keep it together.
This is a part of a blog that I posted in 2011.. I have done this OFF and ON throughout the years....I need to stick to it.
(I did this the and just recently did it again... and I found myself right back here!.I took a time out to do some soul searching about my weightloss and other things I was thinking that I did't know what "worked for ME". Well, I was wrong. I actually do know what works for me and I am going to get back to doing just that!
HERE IS WHAT WORKS FOR ME.....
THE THREE Ps......
PLANNING---my meals and workouts ahead of time...no not the same day, but a few days to a week ahead of time. I used to write out my meals and workouts for the week. Once I planned my food I made a grocery list and went shopping. I also put my workouts in order next to my dvd player.
PREPARING AHEAD----cooking my meals ahead of time and having my snacks prepared. I like to cook enough for lunch/dinner for 3 to 7 days at a time. So, when I get hungry everything is ready and I am not grabbing the first thing I see. Packing my lunch and snacks ahead of time really worked. For instance I would buy a large container of raw cashews and raisins in the small boxes. I would put enough for one serving in separate baggies to make up 7 snacks (1 per day). And good thing for me my breakfast is usually the same thing every day.
PORTION CONTROL---reading labels to make sure that I conscious of exactly what ONE serving is. Then, measuring, weighing and counting EVERYTHING I eat.....snacks included. I have a scale and measuring cups & spoons and I am going to put them to use again. No more "eye-balling". That does not always work!
there ya have it....got to get back to it.
None of this is hard at all. For me, doing it ahead of time is surely less stress than trying to figure it all out and put it together at the last minute.
Practice makes perfect and I will keep practicing......
Now, on to my goals for this week...
My goals for this week are to...
-get out of the 240s
-follow my 3 Ps
-eat at least 4 times everyday....got to work on this...
-eat at least 6 fruggies daily
-drink at least 80oz water daily
