Marathon trg Week 6/7 Recap...

My training this week :

Sunday: 75 min Hot Yoga* + 3.5k walk

Monday: 17k Cycle (on stat bike, random level 3) for 30 min + 75 min Hot Yoga

Tuesday: 19k Run (90 min - 60 min on treadmill and 30 on track)... I do my long run inside since it is still very cold out here and ... my health is not 100%. I am feeling better, but I am taking it slowly. I am still coughing and congested. I am drinking plenty of water. Also, I adjust my training plan to shift my long run for Monday or Tuesday - I don't want to spent so much of my time during the weekend! + 75 min Yoga - Hatha

Wednesday: Swimming (40X 25m = 1000 m)

Thursday: 6.5k (31 min - Hills on treadmill)

Friday: 8.5k (42 min) Outside run!!! Here is my formula (lol)...
-18 Celcius X 8.5k X 42 min = burned 477 cal +105 cal banana + 35 cal yogurt ... result= one happy face (and a nice shot for the pic of the day challenge - topic: "Fruit")

I had an appointment to the physio for my lower back / with acupuncture. It makes a difference but I always feel like I have nothing left into me the night of my treatments. I went to Hot Yoga (60 min) anyway...

So - I am done Week 6 Marathon training of 18 week training plan. I am happy with my training log and I am starting to feel confident that emoticon


My horoscope for the day mentioned this: "For a change of pace, cut yourself some slack and do something special just for you. Encouraging self-sufficiency has its benefits for all involved. You can always check back in to see how others are doing later on." So I will leave it at this for now and will catch up tomorrow! emoticon

(*Power class - excellent for cross training, core strengthening and stretching of course)
