I did it.
Today, the weather was nice, I was restless, and very brave. My youngest daughter and I went out for a walk. On the way back, I started jogging for the first time ever. My daughter is on the track team, so I'm sure jogging with me was a warm up for her. But, she stayed with me, encouraged me to keep going and when I stopped after a quarter mile, told me how proud she was of me for doing what I did.
I have lost 39 pounds so far. I am still 197 though. I felt I was too heavy still to run because of knee issues, but felt great when I did it. I am starting to feel sore this evening, but hope to be feeling fine come morning.
