Well it was an interesting Saturday.
We took one of our cats to the Vet (He stressed out and peed and pooped in the carrier) 1 shot and 7 days of antibiotic.
On to rental house and when Dan (our all purpose contractor) removed the baseboard strip, we found the sheet rock behind was rotted. So in addition to tile floor going in, new toilet, new light fixture we now have more repairs. Our bathroom at home will not get done now. We still have to repair the front 12x50 porch when spring arrives and a roof and gutters in the next few years oh and a new door as someone broke the exterior door into the basement.
Of course my sister (we rent to) thinks I make out like a bandit.
Oh back to the day. We worked in the basement at the rental so we can move some of our things we have stored there to our house and then we headed home.
When Dan had picked up the tile from our garage he mentioned that we had about 1 inch of ice on the garage floor. So I went and worked probably 5-6 hours chipping scraping and shoveling ice out of the garage. Maybe 1/3 done. The floor drain had something set on it and so it did not drain the water that came in from the snow melt.
I came in took a pain pill and a nap and have now had supper and believe it or not. I am happy.
It has been a good day. Really.
We are more organized on getting our things ready to move out of the rental.
The bathroom there will look good. Dan Dan he's the man.
The cat is finally being treated for the raw skin.
I had some great functional exercise with fresh air.
I am with in my calorie range.
I am now 2 on the pain scale.
So what is to complain about?
