Surfing My Moods

Saturday, March 08, 2014

I woke up at 4:30 am for work and I felt awful. My mood is all doom and gloom. I slowly drink my coffee and keep my eyes open and tell myself it's just a fleeting mood. I get dressed and get on my scooter. The wind and cold feels awful on my face. I didn't wear my baklava this morning. My eczema on my face makes it extra sensitive. It is difficult to keep from rubbing and scratching my face. The mood finally lifted and I am feeling good now. The day looks beautiful now. The inter-coastal waterway is a beautiful deep shade of blue. I got to see a roseate spoon bill fly by the window. Life is good!

Title is appropriate; you road the wave and you're still standing. Pushed through it! Good for you! I hope the rest of your day goes smoothly. Hugs.
