OK NOW I GET IT

Thursday, March 06, 2014

Sorry to disappoint my friends - this isn't going to be about my LOST love (Yeah she is STILL TEARING my heart out) or my battle with the evil DOCTOR GRAVITY or even the fact that I just volunteered to have a lobotomy the last 2 days (and its not over more about that on another blog). I just figured out how people get nominated for "blog" of the day - you don't have to be really articulate or smart you just have to accumulate LOADS and LOADS of friends and con them into voting for you.
Pathetic in some ways. I mean I could say something really PROFOUND in THIS blog and it would have the same chance as a Klondike bar in Beelzebub's coffee table. So I mean why bother?

what Morticia wrote is very true. SP is very homogenous in many ways.

I'm sick of those generic motivational blogs. They don't have a human feel to them. Phoney fluff!

What MORTICIA said is so true. It's sad since I have read some fantastic blogs from folks who don't have a big following but have so much to say and are very inspirational and motivational but will never get the nomination.

Some people have tons of followers so they are always blog of the day. They write blogs geared toward being blog of the day. "Motivational" blogs. If you have read them they are often the same blog, just reworded. The theme - "I've lost 200 pounds, I've suffered, I've had set backs, I won't give up". That is what people want to hear.
