Daily checklist + A small victory at the movies today

Tracked my meals. [ x ] (Current streak: 24 days)
Stayed within my calories (6 days a week). [ x ] (Current streak: 24 days)
Didn't binge. [ x ] (Current streak: 27 days)
Went for a walk (6 days a week). [ x ] (Current streak: 25 days)
Took the stairs instead of the elevator. [ x ] (Current streak: 24 days)

Today I ate: 1250 calories
Today I burned: 260 calories
Daily calorie differential: -800 calories

If it wasn't for my streaks, I would have a tough time sticking to my goals sometimes! For example, today we went to the movies and I wanted to get a small popcorn, but after tracking my meals I realized that would probably put me over my daily calorie limit so I skipped the popcorn and I was so proud of myself!!! Now I'm at 1250 calories for the day and my streaks are approaching the 30-day mark! :)

Can I get a woo hoo?! :D

    Good job on resisting the popcorn temptation! But are you really enjoying a movie at the theater if you don't have popcorn? I always plan ahead for the movie theater, cut back on my food intake so I can enjoy my popcorn :)

    Definitely get a whoo hoo! This is why I am a big believer in streaks... I don't know how many times I made the healthy choice only because I didn't want to mess up my streak!
