Rayon difficulties, Matthew Mcconaughey, Harry's Eyeball Update

Thursday, March 06, 2014

I've been thrilled to find some beautiful blouses lately, but today it occurred to me to research the fabric upkeep. Not good news about rayon as it's said to be very difficult to launder w/o shrinkage and wrinkles. So, I'll have to be careful to handwash as it says that it's fragile and can damage even during hand washing. What? Maybe I should return them? Will decide.

I'd just been thinking about what I just recently told my body, that it's going to have to feast on the remaining fat cells now as I get rid of the rest of this weight. No sooner did I say that, when I read a short article and Matthew Mcconaughey talked about how he lost weight for his role in "Dallas Buyers Club." He said that it takes our body a little while to realize it's going to have to get nutrients from within rather than from external sources before it starts to shed pounds.

My baby, Prince Harry, is 100 percent healthy now with bright, shiny, healthy eyeballs and a super-rascally purrsonality. I've got all forms of lysine now and am being diligent in helping him with this feline herpes virus to avoid these awful flare-ups in the future. (I hope, I hope, I hope)

Wishing all a happy day.

As for the fabric, if I truly love something then I will care for the item as it should be care for. If I do not care for it it goes permanent press and what happens happens. Usually I read the labels first. (hmmm isn't that what we are supposed to do with food, read the labels first) LOL
It does take our body time to adjust to whatever new is going on.
emoticon I'm so glad that Prince Harry is 100 percent. (Happy Dance)

I am happy that Harry's eyes are both beautiful and in good health now. I know you will do everything in your power to keep them that way.

Interesting info about M. M. Hard to picture him needing to lose weight for a role. (I didn't see the movie, so maybe he needed to be a walking skeleton.)

Tell Prince Harry I have a job and entertainment for him when he needs a vacation. Glad he is doing better.

I'm terrible about taking care of my clothes...I rarely bother with what the tag says!
I also ruin at least one load a week because I leave pens in my pockets :(
My husband has made me promise to never put my clothes in with his, lol.
I've ruined so many nice things :(

MM seems like a great guy - I liked his speech at the Oscars!

The Prince - SO, SO, SO HAPPY!!!!

I am sooooooo happy for you that your cat is doing so wonderfully!

I love rayon, it is so soft, but I think every material has its pros and cons.

Ah, but rayon feels soooooo nice. Another delicate fabric that feels totally awesome is modal (beech fiber). They are the absolute BEST sheets I've ever had. Never cold, never hot!

Just think of it as thinning out your pantry!

    Great news about Prince Harry!

I remember rayon being popular in the 80's; I had some tops made out of it, and it does wrinkle quite a bit. I was not such a smart shopper back in those days, lol.

I learned about Rayon the hard way, when I was young and poor, and spent my budget on new work clothes, that I was so proud of, until I washed them once, and they were ruined. I didn't have money to buy any more. I have never trusted anything Rayon since. Taught me to read labels.

I guess I don't have any rayon clothes. I can't handle high maintenance stuff.

I am so glad your kitty is better!!!! I know you will try hard to keep him that way.

I work hard enough to make certain I don't have to work at caring for my clothed. I'd rather spend a little more $$ than time and effort.

so glad Prince Harry is back to his normal self.
