Avoiding Stress Snacking

Whenever I'm feeling overwhelmed or stressed, I feel the need to snack!!
I've been feeling very hormonal these past few days and had dessert on Sat (half a molten chocolate cake w/ ice-cream), Sun (salted caramel Chex mix), Mon (slice of carrot cake & salted caramel Chex mix) AND Tues [key lime mini indulgence (in a little shot glass)]!!
Today was a much needed detox day and it always sucks ... HOWEVER I begrudgingly ate fruit and avoided the variety of cupcakes at work... and the popcorn... and chips ... and cookies (there was an "Oscars" party). SIGH.
I feel better when I eat healthy(logically I'm aware), but sometimes I just want to eat bad things for days and NOT undo all the progress I've made. Where is THAT world?! lol
Sadly, I just have to bite the bullet and detox for a few days... then I'll feel better and hopefully the scale will be nice this week :)
I had to work late today, but tomorrow it's time for a hard core gym session :) :)
