My Body, My Rules

So I weighed myself today and I'm down to 187 pounds with 19 or less pounds to go before I reach my goal weight. I haven't decided exactly what that number is going to be but its going to be between 168 and 175ish, it all depends on how I feel but so far I feel good. I've had a few people say I look great now and should stop and then there is one of my uncles who thinks 168 is still too heavy and I should lose even more. I think my goal weight is perfect for me and really that is all that matters. ID like to be 168 and keep my size 12. My goal was to be healthy not skinny and I'm happy with my choice because afterall it is my bodyand size has nothing to do with worth or beauty for that matter. Ilike the body iI am starting to see and I enjoy my curves that will always be apart of me.

I've started writing a submission e-mail to spark people for their success stories that they often showcase. Once I'm done I might post it as a blog to get input but fingers crossed I get selected :-)

    I so agree with you……..your body = your rules. I haven't set a permanent "goal" weight either. I think my final weight will depend on my BMI number. I want to be in the healthy range not overweight or obese. For now I'm just taking it one day, and sometimes one moment, at a time . My plan is to take my weight off in 5% increments so the job don't seem so daunting. I wish you well with your desire to be a Sparkpeople success story, BUT - you already are one! Keep up the GREAT work!

    The main thing is that you're satisfied with YOU! You're not here to nor are you doing this to please anybody else. You go girl, you look amazing! According to my tracker I have about 10 lbs. to go before I hit my goal, also. I was down there once before, a month ago, but I wasn't being diligent in my endeavors, consequently negative things happen.
