I can still feel it in my buns!
I did a 3 minute warm up on the treadmill. Speed; 2.5-2.0, incline 10%. Squeezing glute muscles hard as I walk. They type of workouts I do (Power of Ten) do not require a warm up. I mostly get on the treadmill to workout my glutes. I then did my power of Ten workout. Almost every machine had a 10lb increase from last time except for the ham string curl which increased from 110 to 140! Whoohoo!
Lat pull down- 80lbs
verticle bench press-50lbs
shoulder press 40lbs
biceps curl 40lbs
leg press 100lbs
triceps extension 70lbs
Boy are my glutes feeling it tonight! I think the reason why the weight went up so much on the ham string curls is because of the squats I've been doing. I am keeping my leg press weight down and doing higher reps, even though I'm able to go heavier on the weight, to protect my knees. Thanks for the tip, 'LIFEINTHEZONE'. I'm going to have to try that.
