I visit FB every day and my online journal every day, but I come here about once a year, mostly to check my progress. Just compared my starting numbers here to my numbers with my trainer and I've made a great deal of progress! I've lost only about 25 pounds but I've lost almost as many inches, mostly off my lower abdomen, where I mostly need to lose! My waist is down 5.5" from when I started here, my hips are down 3.75", my lower abdomen is down 3.5". Even my neck size is down an inch and a half!
I've gone from wearing a size 18-20W in tops to about a size 16 and in pants I went from 18W to size 14!!!
I set a goal this year to weigh less at the end of the month than I weighed at the beginning of the month, even if it's only in the tenths of a pound. So far I've done that :-)
Being diabetic and having thyroid issues makes losing weight very tough, but my meds, combined with working with a trainer is a winning combination! We're only working on strength and balance right now - we are going to add cardio this spring when the weather warms up and we can go outside.
