Cooking Ahead

Today is housebound weather, again, although plow truck did come and also shoveled walks, cleaned car around 11. Just so frigid, -14 windchill, just staying warm. We are on water conserve as the ecosystem is frozen and we are running on reserve tanks. Nice surprise, my KATHLEEN the Aveda master stylist, came unexpectedly, colored and cut my hair. After she left, decided to have lunch and do some cooking and prep. Made bread crumbs, spaghetti sauce, pickled beets, skinny French toast in 3-2 sli packs, sfree jello w fruit, and some cinnamon coffee blend. Just stuff to save a little time. Tomorrow I am going to make a turkey meatloaf. Worked out earlier than normal,might knee in a flare up, just trying not to
Strain. I think tonight I will watch the Voice and then cut over to the fashion police...gotta watch Joan Rivers tear up the red carpet. Lol...just hanging out with Louie the Cat. Tuesday will present some work challenges and some opportunities socially. Gotta love life.

    Your day sounds productive --- I, too, like to cook ahead & then freeze extras for later use.

    You probably would have delighted in our weather of today --- nice enough to sit out on the deck in the afternoon sunshine. This is after a very cold Sunday --- with ice covering every branch in the neighborhood --- making a most beautiful scene. Still, we preferred this day's weather! emoticon
