Tracked my meals. [ x ] (Current streak: 21 days)
Stayed within my calories (6 days a week). [ x ] (Current streak: 21 days)
Didn't binge. [ x ] (Current streak: 24 days)
Went for a walk (6 days a week). [ x ] (Current streak: 22 days)
Took the stairs instead of the elevator. [ x ] (Current streak: 21 days)
They always say it takes 21 days to make or break a habit, and I'm starting to agree on that! These things on my list are starting to come pretty naturally now. I still have to stay focused every single day though - I don't want to break my streaks!
Today I was thinking about my goals for March (I'll blog about them tomorrow) and I decided to not weigh myself for an ENTIRE MONTH. I weighed myself on Saturday and I will weigh myself again on April 1st. This is for a few reasons:
1) I don't want to get obsessed with the number on the scale (I weighed myself every morning last month).
2) I want to pay more attention to other changes in my health/body/mood instead of only focusing on a number.
3) Since I've chosen to lose weight slowly, it'll be more fun to see a big loss when I weigh myself after a full month of hard work!
It'll be a challenge but I'm excited! I can't wait to see what the number will be a month from now. I'm aiming to lose at least 3 kg (about 6.5 pounds) this month but I'd be more than happy to lose more! We'll see. I'm really motivated to work hard every day to reach that goal.
