I'm going to try out calorie cycling to see if I can help with my fitness. I am comfortable with what the scales say right now, but I would like to see them move a little more. I have only lost 5 lbs since the beginning of the year, but I have lost inches and built some muscle too. I usually work out 5 to 7 times a week and rest on Sundays. You guys have to go read her blog if you're interested. There is a bunch of really useful information.
I have been wondering if I am consuming enough calories daily to compensate for the amount of calories I burn. I have been trying to stay within the limits that spark people have set for me, but find myself binging on my intense work out days. I have decided that maybe calorie cycling will help with this. So, I'm going to follow the plan listed here.
I can deal with these numbers. It's cool how the high calorie days fall on my usual intense work out days, so that's pretty awesome. I'll give it a try this month and see how it goes. I started yesterday and ended my day at 1862 calories and felt pretty satisfied. I didn't want to run into the kitchen at midnight and devour the jar of peanut butter... so that's good. LOL
