Day 62 of 10min/day

Today will be 62 days of my 10 min/day of exercise. I'll have to get my workout in after work today. I'm not sure if I'll elliptical, zumba, do weights, or some combination.

I took several days off from my daily weigh in this week. Saturday we went out with friends and I made some poor eating decisions and drank quite a bit. The next couple of days saw me nibbling a couple cookies here and there, and then in the middle of the week I indulged in a cup of beer cheese soup. All these treats were yummy, and I'm not beating myself up about it. I decided before going out on Saturday that I would indulge and then give myself some time to get my weight back down. Today's weight was 135.5 lbs, so I've succeeded. I'm looking forward to Lent. Ash Wednesday is this week. That means no treats, no indulging, lots of sacrificing. It helps to offer these sacrifices up for religious reasons. It takes the pressure off of the getting in shape goals.

Mary update: My daughter seems to be improving from her fall on the ice last week. I think the medrol dosepak really helped to reduce the swelling. We have an RX for physical therapy if we need it. I'll see how she's doing later today before deciding to make any appointments. She really has improved quite a bit and already has physical therapy exercises she's supposed to do at home.

Work has been busy this week, and I've worked at both my jobs this last week. I'm typing this during my lunch break, but should finish up so I can get back at it. I really want to leave on time today.

    Good for you! Glad she's mending well.

I just posted in our team challenge thread that it's only the second day of the month and I already missed a day of goals (and they're really, really easy!), so I'm following your lead and gonna try for a streak. I'll track mine on my status update, though. Thanks for the inspiration!
