Well March is certainly coming in like a Lion!! Extremely cold windchills. Never seen a number like -65 F before!
In spite of it, my brother came over to take Mom and I to see a Movie, Non Stop. I like Liam Neeson and he makes the movie worthwhile. You don't go to an action movie for the cerebral challenge :P
I didn't have popcorn, but I did have a small order of sweet potato fries. Then my brother dropped Mom off and took me to my bank so I could deposit my club expenses check. Then we went for ice cream (yes we are Crazy Canucks!)
I came home to track my misbehaviors and discovered my computer's browser would not connect to the internet in spite of my taskbar showing I had a full connection with a strong signal!. Hours of rebooting and troubleshooting got me nowhere. Very frustrating. I know my computer is way overdue for a formatting, but I need to find my recovery discs first. Not being able to spend much time at my apartment, I haven't had time to look. We are traveling back and forth as little as possible in this cold weather. It means only one shower per week for me.
I am using my stepdad's computer, but only have time in the early morning to use it before he wakes up -he is in here right after he wakes up until he goes to bed, and I am too tired after my infusion to go online after 10 pm, besides which my Mom is using the hide a bed in this room and likes to go to bed early.
I am feeling my aches, cold has never agreed with me, and not getting any fresh air is frustrating. Getting up and down off low chairs and the couch frequently is straining my leg muscles as I cannot use my arm for an assist. My cast is cutting into my hand uncomfortably in spite of the padding, but I am letting my weight hang on it instead of supporting it with cushions like before so that I can give the broken shoulder proper traction is the reason why.
So bad weather is in the news everywhere across both our nations, so wishing everyone who is facing it, please be careful and don't go out in it if you don't have to! Stay safe!
