I Fell Off the Wagon

Saturday, March 01, 2014

I have fallen off the wagon-BIG TIME! I have been out of control with how I am eating, not exercising, just not doing the things I need to do and all these things combined have contributed to my unhappiness. I have had a tough year and I expect it will get tougher. I found out the reason for my memory issues is due to TIA's/mini-strokes. Add to the mix, I have had work-related stress, my dad having a stroke, losing his eyesight, and my son being hospitalized for clinical depression, I fell back on my former way to comfort myself...eating, and eating, and eating. I NEED to consume God's word, that has given me comfort before and it will again. Pray for me brothers and sisters in Christ.

Praying. It is good that you recognize what get's you down.
And I agree this weather is not helping. It has depressed me this winter.

Well look who came back just in the nick of time! LOL!
You need to burn a lot of the stress off, I have actually used Spark Coach for this past week. I like it.
Trust me everyone is down with this cold ND weather.

I'm so proud of you! You recognize that you're not handling the stress in a healthy way, you've pinpointed the issues, and are ready to make changes, very impressive. Anyone can fall off the wagon, that doesn't take much effort. But a true champion gets back up again, dusts themselves off, and climbs back aboard. You can do this, you're worth it.

So sorry that things have been difficult, hang in there, take them one step at a time. You'll get through this difficult time. Our prayers are with you, you have a lot going on in your life right now.

I've been in the same position 2 years ago. Gained back most of the weight I had lost. Take some time to take care of yourself and start back slowly at whatever pace you can handle. Little steps can get you far.
God bless

Eating well will be a stress-reliever. Keep reminding yourself!

So sorry about the memory issues. I'm going to say something about this issue to my new doctor. For the third time in less than a month, I left my rollabout (for teaching in different classrooms) sitting outside. This time it got rained on.

I affirm your connection with your inner peace, that which cannot be ruffled by the outer world.

Prayers are with you, just remember we've all fallen off the wagon at one time or another. The thing to do is to jump back on it. Ask God to give you a boost up.
