At the risk of sounding like my mom......

Saturday, March 01, 2014

I notice that the more birthdays my mom has, it takes less and less things to wear her out. For instance, if she had to go to the post office and the grocery store AND the doctors all in one day, well, then boy do we hear about her busy busy day!
But today, normally I am home all the time,I had much to do! I woke early and organized my coupons knowing I had shopping to do. Next I had to go to my daughters school to watch some video for her sports. Then straight there to the store then run home drop off groceries (which by the way, I saved $30 in coupons!) then run to pick up our doggie, a 45 minute drive, only to hurry back home grab a quick bite, finish putting away the non perishables, and go get gas (hubs usually does that!) run to Kmart to get a script filled, do some shopping while I am there (saved another $20) only to hurry home and have my oldest son and his wife over visiting! THEN less than 20 minutes before I have to get on to work, (can't exactly have an excuse to be late when you work from home!) hubs asks whats for dinner? wow.
I am tuckered! Hope you all started March out more peaceful than I got to! You know I am frazzled! But I was able to get all my tracking done!! woo hoo!

Now that is a busy day. I do that when I have to go out and run errands. If I'm taking my Mom somewhere we only go to a couple of places before she's tired.

    Yup . . . that's a busy day!

Knock, Knock!

I knocked at heaven's door this morning. God asked me...My child, what can I do for you?

And I said, Father, please protect and bless the person reading this message. God smiled and answered...Request granted.

I think if you went around to the pharmacies in the neighborhood, not the ones in the drug stores we all know, and mentioned you have no insurance they cut you a deal, at least half. then if you call Meijer's, they carry certain ones for free. if you already have a prescription made, they can fax it over to the other drug store. if you really wanted to mention insurance, many like Wall marts only charge $4.00. Do you get your coupons online from many of the clubs? I don't use any, other than cereal & pet food. cause I swell from salt. mostly I eat fresh. I get the best deals in fruits at Lebanese places. Hey what is for dinner. You can always make stir fry it's fast. And with left over meat, vegetables & some kind of salsa or sauce you van make quesideias. It's easy. And you can always cut up pitas and have sauces, or chips with brown sugar & cinnamon. When I was married I always had soups, and casseroles in the refrigerator, or mini pizzas I made with biscuits. take care, and relax if it's possible. today was just laundry day, and watering my many plants. eva

They used to tease me about having a "mall ministry" because I loved to shop and would shop til I dropped. Well, I still love to shop and will shop til I drop, but I seem to drop earlier in the day now. Maybe that's how it is with your Mom as well!

I can relate to you and your Mom. The older you get the more tuckered out you get doing a few things. You will see when you get your Mom's age.
