OMAT for March

Okay, Sparkers, it's OMAT time!!! :-)

February OMAT was to stay within my calorie range EVERY day all day for the entire month.

Update: February 7th I had hip surgery and I knew this would be a tough month and it would be important for me to stay within my calorie range. In February, I went over my calories on a total of three days. Each day it was a conscious decision starting with the day prior to surgery. I knew I needed to eat more that day in preparation for fasting and surgery. Anyway, the main thing is that I made up (aka balanced) the calories the very next day in each and every case. THAT is the real goal, right? There will probably always be days when we (I) end up going over. That's real life. The trick is to make it balance. THAT is the real goal, right? :-)

So, with that in mind, here is my March OMAT:

Mary's March OMAT:

emoticon I will BALANCE my calories every single day all month long!
(Translated, that means that if/when I choose to go over my calories, I will immediately balance my calories the very next day. Real life!)

AND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

emoticon I will ACCURATELY track my water EVERY day all month long. TRULY make sure to drink eight full glasses of water every day = 64 ounces = half a gallon = two quarts. Yeah, baby! I'm ALL IN!!! :-)

    OK! I love the balancing calories idea. I'm guessing you mean that if you add two days' calories together, they don't go over what your range would be for those two days. Right? I hadn't really thought about that before, but I think I'll add that into my own OMAT for March. Thanks for leading and inspiring! Maybe you should start an OMAT team?!?

    I'm SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!! YAY YAY YAY!!!!!!!!! Okay, Janet! Let's do THIS!

Balance is the key. If/when we go over, we are going to balance it out right away. Today I went over. Tomorrow I will balance.

We had a big meeting of all our Jeep Trail Guides with lots of food and some positive stress. Yup, I went over. Tomorrow I will fix that. :-)

    emoticon I continue to love, love, love your OMAT. You did a great job to balance those calories out and I believe you are right that it should be a balance, not a strict daily goal. I will join you in the balancing calories goal. It seems so hard for me but I am well practiced at using the tracker now so it is time to move the bar up!!
