Spring Into Shape with a 20-Day Challenge!

Friday, February 28, 2014

I just read a blog about Spark's Spring Into Shape with a 20-Day Challenge! I'm joining. They want us to do at least 10 minutes of fitness every day.
I'm pretty well past that but I'm terrible about strength training. Love the cardio hate the weights. So I'm going to do at least 10 minutes of strength training every other day for my challenge. Since I'm not into social media I'm going to blog every other day about my strength training escapades in an attempt to stay accountable. Of course I'll still do my hour of cardio too.

Today I plan to get my old resistance band out and work on my upper body for 10 minutes. I'll come back with a goal met or an excuse in the next blog.

Funny thing, I hate cardio and love strength training...

What types of things do you like to do for cardio? I'd be happy to swap some strength training ideas with you :)

Good luck on your efforts! Those resistance bands are turning out to be a buried treasure for me. I'd stuck them in a drawer and pretty much forgotten them , until I goofed up my foot. Now that I'm really getting to "know" them, I may never stop using them again!
