it's almost March

Feb. sure did go by fast....it was a good month for me...I stayed on track and found healthy ways to keep going with my plan and closer to my goal.......
My goal for Feb. was to loose 2 pounds, I know that doesn't seem like much but it's half pound a week...that is a goal I can reach and not feel like I am starving or being deprived...this works for me... This is a plan I can live with...that is important to my success..and that is what Spark People is all about. Finding a plan that works for me....a healthy life style is the only way to keep the weight for life and still be happy........
I also added a 15-20 minute exercise in the afternoon or evening, that seems to help me sleep better and to relax....so far it is mostly walking or marching.....I love to march while brush my teeth and watch TV...it's amazing how many extra steps you can get in and for an added boost light hand weight add a bit more ....
My plan for March will be the same, eating a bit less and exercising a bit more, finding things that I like , things that keep me motivated and I find fun....

I do believe that we all have to find what works for us..find positive things that help you reach your goals....small changes can and do add up.....

Lets have a healthy March and find ways to reach your goals....I know we can all find small changes that will build up....

If you don't thing half a pound is much ...think about this...it's 20-21 pounds a year....thats big....
so one day at a time...
