I dont know what happened but I was absolutely exhausted yesterday - post-vacation tiredness maybe? I dont know. I was practically asleep at my desk in the afternoon, and I was in bed at 7:30pm last night! I couldnt even keep my eyes open to read my book, and its a good book, too! I guess I really needed the sleep. I had planned to run a short 2-3 miles yesterday, but that didnt happen, and probably for the better anyway!
Trying to get caught up on work - its hard when I call people and they dont call me back, or return my emails. Trying not to stress when I dont have control over other people... But I do have a meeting this afternoon at the Academy, so that will get me out of the office a bit and maybe help me feel a bit more productive?
I signed up for another race yesterday! It's the Lucky Laces 10k in Denver on March 15 - for St Patricks Day weekend. I am pretty excited about it! I have a half marathon in mind at the end of April in NJ. I am planning to visit my parents that weekend so a race would be fun, too. And its along the shore. I really need to visit them becuase I have to travel two weeks in a row in May for work, and I dont want to board my dog for two weeks straight, so my plan is to take her to my parents and have her stay there until June sometime. But, I just found out I might have to go to a conference at the end of April, so I am holding off on buying plane tickets / registering for the race until I know if I am going to the conference or not. I dont particularly want to go to this conference, so I requested one of the other two options...hopefully I'll find out soon before airfare increases! Plus, if I cant run that race, then I need to find a different one for April - I am trying to do one race each month, mainly 10ks or half marathons.
This weekend I really need to get on top of super cleaning my house - I've been doing the bare minimum, but I need a day of just really focusing on cleaning everything. I am also planning to do a 8-9 mile run this weekend. Tomorrow is a crafting group night, but I am debating skipping it just so I can get some stuff done around my house and relax instead. I am not actively working on a craft project right now either, so I dont know what I would bring. But I do have a few sewing projects I want to work on this weekend, too. And I want to cook a ton of fun. I have no food in my house right now - well I stopped at the grocery store yesterday and picked up some microwave meals just to make it through until Saturday. I am also toying with some goals for March right now - cant believe March is just in two days!
