I dont know what happened but I was absolutely exhausted yesterday - post-vacation tiredness maybe? I dont know. I was practically asleep at my desk in the afternoon, and I was in bed at 7:30pm last night! I couldnt even keep my eyes open to read my book, and its a good book, too! I guess I really needed the sleep. I had planned to run a short 2-3 miles yesterday, but that didnt happen, and probably for the better anyway!

Trying to get caught up on work - its hard when I call people and they dont call me back, or return my emails. Trying not to stress when I dont have control over other people... But I do have a meeting this afternoon at the Academy, so that will get me out of the office a bit and maybe help me feel a bit more productive?

I signed up for another race yesterday! It's the Lucky Laces 10k in Denver on March 15 - for St Patricks Day weekend. I am pretty excited about it! I have a half marathon in mind at the end of April in NJ. I am planning to visit my parents that weekend so a race would be fun, too. And its along the shore. I really need to visit them becuase I have to travel two weeks in a row in May for work, and I dont want to board my dog for two weeks straight, so my plan is to take her to my parents and have her stay there until June sometime. But, I just found out I might have to go to a conference at the end of April, so I am holding off on buying plane tickets / registering for the race until I know if I am going to the conference or not. I dont particularly want to go to this conference, so I requested one of the other two options...hopefully I'll find out soon before airfare increases! Plus, if I cant run that race, then I need to find a different one for April - I am trying to do one race each month, mainly 10ks or half marathons.

This weekend I really need to get on top of super cleaning my house - I've been doing the bare minimum, but I need a day of just really focusing on cleaning everything. I am also planning to do a 8-9 mile run this weekend. Tomorrow is a crafting group night, but I am debating skipping it just so I can get some stuff done around my house and relax instead. I am not actively working on a craft project right now either, so I dont know what I would bring. But I do have a few sewing projects I want to work on this weekend, too. And I want to cook a ton of fun. I have no food in my house right now - well I stopped at the grocery store yesterday and picked up some microwave meals just to make it through until Saturday. I am also toying with some goals for March right now - cant believe March is just in two days!

    OH YEAH !! JET LAG !!!! I had it when I came back from Denver, but NOT on the way to !! STRANGE !!! From FL back to ME,,, I just get tired and my legs ALWAYS SWELL UP HUGE when on a plane.

    Did ya see some famous person pics on some sites,, of her doing fancy yoga on the plane? LOL People had to MOVE their HEADS so they'd NOT get KICKED !! Was KINDA FUNNY, but hey if I took Amtrak,, I WOULD DO IT !!! Those aisles are a LITTLE WIDER !

    CONGRATS on ALL the WANTING to do the 10Ks and HM !! This sooo FANTASTIC to read !! HOW ENCOURAGING !!

    How about a blog on HOW you WORKED UP to this? THus would SURELY ENCOURAGE others who read ur blogs and think "THeRE's NO WAY I could EVER DO THAT" !!

    Sounds as if you're still a bit jet lagged or otherwise discombobulated - scattered I guess one might say. Give yourself a little time to breathe, my friend.

    You just had a vacation that was in a different time zone and was somewhat emotionally draining for you. Travel on planes is NEVER restful these days. Here you are stating intentions to accomplish this, that and the other thing in the next 3 or 4 days, but it all sounds so haphazard. If you plan too much to realistically accomplish it in the allotted time frame, you will not meet your goals and will not be happy. Be sure you provide some time just for yourself - time to relax, to read, to take a hot bubble bath, to walk and play with the dog. You deserve that, too.
