Another "hump" climbed.......

Thursday, February 27, 2014

Got that mid-day errand in - but it was NO fun.........major pothole issues, coupled with *major* utility work rendering roads difficult to navigate - and trouble finding the building number (WHY aren't building numbers made more easily visible for drivers than they are - there outta be a #~!@@ LAW!)............at least the process was relatively quick and I was able to get home to do a few things before my afternoon gig............the process didn't allow for a true interview, but I'm actually OK with that since this was a more of a protective "pre-emptive strike" on my part.........I will continue the effort but at a conservative pace........

Had a meal out with extended family and such..........not the greatest environment but, heck, the meal was free........

Soooooo nice to see snow MELT!

Don't even want to *think* about upcoming issues that are being buzzed around, though......

That's it for now from Raspberryland.........enjoy your Thursday!

The roads here in Michigan weren't that great to begin with; I am kind of dreading what they are going to be like in the spring when (or if!) this snow melts.

Oh, did that sound like me! I hate the snow and ice. The potholes seem to be gigantic this year. I hit one about a month ago, blew my tire, bent my rim, and lost half of my hubcap. It took two mornings and $370.00 to get it fixed. And whenever I look for addresses, it does seem like they're working on the road, the drivers in front of me are slow, and I'm running late. But you made it through the day! And you got a free meal! Hope today is good for you.
