It's been a fairly quiet day today. Other then the layoff rumors (yes..there will be one..we just don't know when or how) running rampart at work nothing much is happening today.
I stopped at Wally World last night and picked up the Blu Ray version of Thor The Dark World. It came with a digital download, so I watched part of it while working out this morning (a shirtless Chris Hemsworth's will make any workout go faster!
). I'll watch more of it tomorrow.
So last night I made oven baked Mango Salsa Chicken. And while it wasn't hubby's cup of tea (1 - it wasn't Hawaiian and 2- He really doesn't like trying new things food wise), I thought it turned out delicious! So simple...5 ingredients, 5 mins prep, and 40 mins in the oven. It's from the Pillsbury web site, the only thing I changed was that it called for just plain salsa. I used chicken thighs instead of breasts and Newman's Own Mango Medium Salsa. It gave a slightly sweet/fruity taste. And I didn't use the sour cream. Here's the link for the recipe, if any one wants it:
Tonight I'm going to do something with some boneless pork chops.
Like I said above...I did my workout..60 mins. But I forgot my FitBit at home today. So I used my iPod as a step counter. It's not as accurate as my FitBit (no way to adjust stride length on the iPod). I'm seriously thinking of looking into getting a Samsung Gear Fit when they come out. We'll be getting the new Samsung S5 phone in April and the Gear Fit will sync with the phone. And it has some extra features that my FitBit doesn't have. Of course I'll still us my FitBit One...you think both would be overkill?

OK..this is it for me right now! Have a great Hump Day..or what's left of it!
