Reluctant Exerciser

Wednesday, February 26, 2014

Oops I did it again!
Did what?
Exercised when I didn't want to.
How can that be?
First I have an alarm set on my cell phone. It gives me a 5 minute heads up that the "Classical Stretch" program is coming on PBS and I need to finish up what I am doing and get ready.
Bemoaning: "But I don't feel like exercising."
All right, I'll switch it on to see what is today's focus and then decide if I will exercise. The music starts and I'm like Pavlov's dog, Something stirs within and reluctantly I start moving and before I know it is done. I am feeling good, refreshed, energized.

Thankfully I have developed a participatory response to the theme music.

Hurray for you!! That's a great kind of "conditioning": so long as there is no drooling involved!!

LOVE it . . . like Pavlov's dog! And eventually there won't be that internal argument! It is just automatic "This is what I am to do, so gonna do it!"

HUGS and good job!
