A So-So Week...

Things are going well as far as the Birthdays challenge. I have done some form of exercise every day since Sunday. I even did Zumba AND Rockin' Body tonight! Walked over 12,000 steps today! (And drank either 72 or 96 oz. of water...I lost track).

The "so-so" part...my recent lab results at my doctor weren't what I wanted. My A1C level was still in the Pre-Diabetic range so my doctor put me back on the Metformin. My prescription had run out and she wanted to see me before she knew whether she needed to renew it or not. I was hoping for the "or not", but my poor eating and exercising habits resulted in the need to renew it. Hopefully what I'm doing now will help get the weight off.

I did splurge a bit last night. I REALLY wanted a Shamrock Shake from McDonald's! I've loved those ever since I was a little girl. I allowed myself to get one but I only drank half of it before throwing the rest out. The "big girl" in me didn't want to consume all 660 calories!

It's absolutely FREEZING here in Kansas! emoticon Stay warm, everyone!

    It does make sense to NOT take in 660 calories that aren't really helping your body! Some is OK, but not the whole thing!
