Food for Today

Here's what I had to eat/drink today:
Breakfast: two slices whole wheat toast with honey peanut butter, one banana, almond milk.
Lunch: Turkey sandwich with dijon mustard on whole wheat bread, baked beans.
Dinner: Angel hair pasta with spaghetti sauce, homemade garlic bread with fat-free butter spread, salad (mixed greens, tomato, sunflower seeds, 1/2 avocado) and balsamic vinaigrette.
Snacks: pineapple, skim milk, 100 calorie fig newton bar, one small hush puppy.
I know this is TERRIBLE, but I haven't really been eating fruits or vegetables at all for the past several weeks. So... I am thrilled to have had some today! I want to incorporate more and more fruits and veggies into my diet, and I am planning to start Phase One of South Beach Diet on March 1. I think I did a very good job today and I'm proud of myself.
