Hey, nice talking to everyone and thank you all for your comments and suggestions...Discouraged me too to hear of the bullying etc. that goes on with the clerkship. Yes, I am taking on things that I enjoy... I would probably enjoy the church thing too, and maybe it would help me to become more assertive and not accept any of the disrespect.... that's right too, like they say at the Oscars (or is it Grammies) ... it was an honour just to be asked.
I didn't watch much of the Olympics but I did see both of the hockey games where we got our gold medals. How did US do, Terri Like I said I didn't watch much.
Got my book review back today and only comment was that they are used to more formal language. I told him that I've been there and done that the first 2 times, but now I am doing this for me... I got 82, so pleased with that. I haven't done a paper in years and the last one was a thank you to the school division and proving to them why it had been a positive thing to send me to a particular workshop. Been reading more for my REearch Paper and have to stop soon and actually do it, it's like the tip of an iceberg, that just keeps sparking my mind and getting me more and more interested.
I had my friend over yesterday that needed help with her book review... spent 4 hours on it, but hopefully she can finish it herself now. I'm a teacher, I helped, ( a lot) but I did NOT do it for her.
Interesting there was an article on tv news tonite about cheating in universities and of the 7000 people who were caught, only punishment was a reduced mark. I'm not sure if only 1% were punished, or if the 7000 people were the 1%. Will have to catch the news again later and get that clarified.
