Let TODAY be the day!

I've had a successful day. I'm not going to dwell on the fact that it's my 398th "day one." I'm just going to focus on my victories: I ate well all day, ate healthy food, didn't indulge on anything I shouldn't have, and made smarter food choices. I also exercised the instant I got home from work, before I could talk myself out of it. I did the Leslie Sansone twenty minute Power Mile. Now, I'm going to shower and then fix dinner for my family. I'm feeling good...feeling proud. I hope I can keep this up. I can't take this anymore. I need to accomplish this goal. I can't give up on myself...I just can't.

    I really like what you have to say in your blog. It is the way I feel about me and my (lack of) progress. I'm getting tired of the same old cycle of lose - gain - lose - gain - and so on.

    Like you, I have decided I have to "just do it." Doing the same old thing over and over and expecting different results is just plain dumb. I know what I need to do and I need to do it without excuses.
