Last week of February

Monday, February 24, 2014

I've shared with a couple people already today -- that I feel better than I've felt in a long time --- physically as well as emotionally.

I'm taking those steps no matter how small toward a healthier life --- physically, emotionally and even spiritually.

I have several areas of support --- and I'm using each one as needed.

I had one less than good week -- in the last 4 and my mind wanted to throw away the first 2 months of the year.

I've lost 5 pounds in the last 4 weeks --- had 3 weigh-ins and a "no meeting" one week.

So I realized --- I'm doing just fine --- and will continue to trudge this road to happy destiny.

verb: trudge; 3rd person present: trudges; past tense: trudged; past participle: trudged; gerund or present participle: trudging
1. walk slowly and with heavy steps, typically because of exhaustion or harsh conditions.

I use it as walking slowly and as sure as possible --- each step with meaning. It's an AA phrase -- and I think it describes my walk toward a healthier me.

I like "trudge", it's a good word that describes correctly the difficulties we face. Keep going. Because you deserve it =)
